Release Carnival is for everyone. We want as many organisations, families and individuals involved as possible. There are many ways of getting involved, and if you’re interested, please contact us on soas_detainee_support@riseup.net

-Get involved in planning the carnival

We have regular planning meeting, and if you want to get involved, drop up an email and we’ll put you on the mailing list, soas_detainee_support@riseup.net

-Statement of support

Do you support Release Carnival? Go to our ‘support’ page, and write your name and/or statement of support. If your organisation wish to have your logo on the website contact us by email.

-Choir

Thanks to Andy Whitfield and the Millenium Choir, we will perform the song ‘These Are The Rights’ from the album ‘For Every Child.’ If you want to sing a long, get in touch! Rehearsal dates will be up soon!

-Be a steward

We need 20 volunteer stewards to help out with logistics on the day. You will be given instructions, and we will have a short meeting for all stewards a couple of days before the carnival, so everyone knows what their role is. Everyone is welcome to join the march, and we hope to see 1000 people ready to march from Torrington Square to Downing Street on 5th of June. Just show up on the day, or if you have questions or special needs, get in touch.

Travel costs are reimbursed for all asylum seekers (cheapest mode of transport) but we would appreciate it, if you could write to us in advance, especially if you are traveling from far away.
